Say yr goodbyes and draft up that will cuz this four song EP from Quilty's resident blonde/redhead/brunette Sarah/Sadie Dupuis is going to fucking beat you to within an inch of your life. And then right as you beg for mercy, she's going to drop an album on you (CPR 023 anybody? COMING V SOON!) and you won't even be alive for the EP that's coming after that (CPR 024?!?!?!). But maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here. Mandatory backstory time:

Sarah spent the summer recording in rural Connecticut in the same room that she did a bunch of the Quilty stuff. She wrote recorded about 20 songs all by her lonesome--she plays every instrument and made every decision. Shit, does that sound like the Bon Iver PR story? I guess the difference here is that Bon Iver fucking sucks and this will slay you. Listen to Necrocomicon and tell me you're not kinda checking over your shoulder the whole time. There are the obvious Pavement/Sebadoh/GBV ghosts here but there's also something else far more sinister at work as these songs creep to a place that for better or worse, none of those hallmark artists ever approached.
